Wagons Ho!

This has been coming for a while. And now it's here.

We're really moving.

It's still hard to believe, even though I've known it since January. Since before this blog.

We're just now packing our computer, so I'm writing this on our iPad. I won't be able to keep this up, though, without wifi.

Basically, I won't be able to post for at least a week. Thanks in advance for being paitent.

P.S. RIP Christina and Caleb. You will be missed.

800 Exactly

I logged in today and noticed that this blog has exactly 800 pageviews!
Kind of random, but it's just such a nice, round number. And it's big, too! It's hard to believe my little blog could have gotten so popular so fast! The dolly blogging community is awesome, and I'm so glad to be a part of it. Thanks for reading about my adventures!

And thanks for putting up with less frequent posts as my family is in the process of moving, too.

You guys rock!

I'm Baaack!

From caaamp! Didja miss me? :-D

Enjoy these pictures!

So many pretty plants at camp!
 I'm proud of this one!
 Hazel came to camp, too!
 Here's my cabin!
We honored the senior counselors by spelling out "seniors" on the lodge! ...with taped on plastic spoons.
And here's me and Hazel! I was experimenting with the "auto-timer" feature. It worked well!
I decorated my name tag!

Thanks for putting up with a lot of non-doll-related posts. Since we're moving soon, I've been packing up my doll things, so I don't have a lot to photograph or write about.

Have a great day!

Camp or Bust!

Hi awesome fans!

I'm so excited because I'm going to camp today! I won't be back until Friday, and I won't be able to be online. But I will be taking cool (if non-doll-related) pictures to share, so hold tight til I get back!

Have a great day!

Including the sort-of-annual Dollytown Independence Pageant and Parade! I collaborated with Hazel and Reid on this one, so some of their dolls are in it too. Enjoy the celebration!

...They're thinking...
"And now, the winners! In third place is..."

"Well, that's it for the pageant! And I hope you'll now join me and the pageant winners for the Independence Day Parade!"
The parade was big, fun, and, most of all, red-white-and-blue!
Leading the parade was MC Caroline and the beribboned float, which carried the winners!
And then all the other dolls marched behind!
They had so much fun singing patriotic songs and waving to fans!
And of course they all wore their red, white, and blue finery!
Molly and Lizzie had the job of carrying the American flag. Molly was thrilled with this arrangement.
Kate and Claire marched together, waving happily.
Alyssa and Georgia tried to sing just as loud as they could!
The tri-colored ribbons on the winners float waved merrily in the breeze.

And now, let's take a look at the patriotic outfits worn by each doll!
Hazel's Caroline is wearing a black and white floral dress with a blue ribbon sash, the red-and-white headband and black T-straps from Emily's meet outfit, and a beaded bracelet.
Reid's Elizabeth has on the denim dress, butterfly tights, and blue flats of her meet outfit.
Becca Louise is wearing a red elastic headband, the ribbon headband she won in the pageant, denim overalls, the tee from the True Spirit outfit, and pair of purple Springfield crocs-like shoes.
Hazel's Lollipop is wearing a blue ladybug-and-flower print dress and bloomers and bonnet and Emily's red meet socks.
Babydoll's wearing a blue gingham romper, a white blouse, white socks, and of course her crown!
Hazel's Kate is wearing a pink tee with stars from the AG store, a jean skirt, Kit's meet sandals, and her Two-Tone glasses.
Claire is wearing the bandanna from Maryellen's cherry outfit, a white tee and blue capris, and the turquoise sandals from the Ruffled Hoodie outfit.
Hazel's Kelly's wearing a blue sundress made by Hazel and Mom, the True Spirit boots, and a red-and-white striped hair ribbon.
Molly is layering a jean jumper, a blue tee, and her meet dickey. She also has on her meet glasses and bows and the T-strap shoes from her Polka-Dot outfit.
Hazel's Lizzie is wearing her meet dress and Caroline's blue slippers.
Alyssa's wearing the Ruffled Hoodie outfit tank top, the Rainbow Sprinkles capris and sandals, and a pink flower hair clip.
Hazel's Georgia is wearing Lea's Rainforest Hike tee, Caroline's pink flats, and Lollipop's meet cardigan and pink capris.
Izzy is wearing Maryellen's cherry outfit top and flats with Molly's Polka-Dot outfit skirt.
Peace has on an AG store exclusive tee, Maryellen's play capris, the Easy Breezy sneakers, and a blue bracelet I made.
And, bringing up the rear, Hazel's Maryellen is wearing her meet dress, shrug, and shoes.
I hope you enjoyed the little look at our dolls' Fourth of July celebrations!
Happy Independence Day! And if you don't live in the U.S. (I apparently have a fan base in Portugal), then have a great day!

P.S. Thanks to Hazel for letting me raid her ribbon collection to decorate the parade float!
